LEATHER BAG

This beautiful leather bag was known as "pera" or "loculus". It was used as a container for the food and personal belongings, hanging from a wood pole carried over the shoulder, as we can see in the Trajan's column. Roman leather bag, Ist. Century A.D. 40x32 cm. 9 cm. wide.
